The 2026 LIV Golf season is officially underway with live coverage on FOX Sports and streaming live on FOX One. Here’s everything to know to gear up for an exciting season of action.
WHAT IS LIV GOLF?
LIV Golf is a unique league with tournaments played over four rounds and 72 holes across four days, anchored by shotgun starts, where every group begins play simultaneously on different holes. That’s a change from prior seasons, when events ran three rounds over 54 holes. LIV’s 13 four-player teams compete for both individual and team honors at every event.
WAIT, THERE ARE TEAMS?!
Yes. LIV features 13 teams of four players, including some of the biggest names in the sport: 4Aces GC, Cleeks GC, Crushers GC, Fireballs GC, HyFlyers GC, Korean Golf Club, Legion XIII, Majesticks GC, OKGC, RangeGoats GC, Ripper GC, Southern Guards GC and Torque GC.
Three teams enter 2026 under new names. Iron Heads GC is now Korean Golf Club, Stinger GC is now Southern Guards GC, and Smash GC is now OKGC under new captain Talor Gooch.

MEET THE PLAYERS
LIV’s roster for 2026 includes 57 players, 13 team captains among them, headlined by major champions Jon Rahm (Legion XIII), Bryson DeChambeau (Crushers GC), Phil Mickelson (HyFlyers GC), Dustin Johnson (4Aces GC), Sergio García (Fireballs GC) and Joaquín Niemann (Torque GC).
The offseason brought real turnover. Brooks Koepka received an early, mutually agreed release from Smash GC (now OKGC), with Harold Varner III taking his spot. Abraham Ancer moved to Torque GC, and Victor Pérez joined Cleeks GC.

ALRIGHT, BACK TO THE FORMAT
All 57 players, including five wild-card entries, compete across the 13 four-player teams. The player with the lowest score after 72 holes wins individual honors, while the team with the lowest combined score wins the team title. Competitors accumulate points toward season-long individual and team championships.
HOW TO WATCH
FOX One is the home base for LIV Golf in 2026. Every round of every event streams live on FOX One, with select rounds also airing across the rest of the FOX family of networks, including FOX, FS1, FS2 and FOX Business Network. More than half the schedule airs on FOX or FS1, and coverage is also available on the FOX Sports App and to LIV Golf+ app subscribers.

E O VENCEDOR É…
Jon Rahm entra na temporada como o atual campeão individual depois de acertar o melhor da carreira com 11 abaixo de 60 anos no LIV Golf Indianápolis para ultrapassar o líder de pontos Joaquín Niemann no último dia da temporada de 2025, apesar de não ter vencido um único evento. O Legion XIII de Rahm também entra como o atual campeão do time, tendo derrotado o Crushers GC de Bryson DeChambeau em um playoff no Team Championship que encerra a temporada.
O campeão individual é coroado após a 13ª prova da temporada, com base nos pontos conquistados. O campeonato por equipes é decidido no 14º e último evento, onde quatro equipes qualificadas disputam o vencedor.

O FUTURO DOS JOGADORES TAMBÉM EM JOGO
A posição de cada jogador na classificação final determina seu status na liga na temporada seguinte, com os jogadores classificados em três níveis: a Lock Zone, a Open Zone e a Drop Zone na parte inferior, o que acarreta o risco de rebaixamento.
